During this tour, we will take you to the most picturesque spots in the region, the mesmerizing Muir Woods and the beautiful Napa Valley, where Californian wines of the highest quality are produced.
Your journey will start right at the doorsteps of your hotel or Airbnb, where our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide will pick you up in a luxury vehicle. We will first visit the famous Golden Gate Bridge, a staple in San Francisco’s cultural scene. Next, we’ll stop at one of the observation decks for photos, then drive to a place so stunning it will take your breath away: the redwoods park, a national monument of nature – Muir Woods Park.
In 1905, during the Gold Rush, this peculiar city started to grow, and it became clear that redwood was the perfect raw building material. One of San Francisco’s business people, William Kent, decided to buy the forest land and donate it to the federal government. Three years later, in 1908, President Theodore Roosevelt proclaimed this area a national monument of nature. By Kent’s request, it was named after John Muir, a well-known protector of the environment.
After taking a tour through Muir Woods, we will go to Napa Valley. In old Indian, “Napa” means “Land of Plenty.” With its unique climate, this region is the only place in the US that produces dry wines. You’ll discover the most acclaimed vineyards of California in Napa Valley. The most popular grapes in Napa are Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, Merlot, and Pinot Noir, and they are all widely grown inside the valley. Napa Valley produces about 70 percent of all wines on the continent! Our tour will take you to 3 wineries for excellent wine and cheese tasting.
