PICKUP POINTVisit Cambridge, a worldwide recognized hub of education, innovation, and history, explore Lexington Green, where the battle against the British took place, and learn some interesting facts about the American Revolution.
Your journey will start right at the doorsteps of your hotel or Airbnb, where our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide will pick you up in a luxury vehicle. The tour will begin in Boston by visiting Bunker Hill, where the events leading to the Revolutionary War occurred. Then you will move on to Cambridge, where two of America’s famous universities (MIT and Harvard) are based, and learn about their past, present, and future. Next, you will check out Washington’s Boston Headquarters at Longfellow House and hop back in your car for a trip to Lexington and Concord.
In Lexington and Concord, many stops will highlight the authors and activists who fought to abolish slavery and the Union Cause in the Civil War. In the Sleepy Howell Burial ground, we will see the graves of authors Alcott, Hawthorne, and Emerson.
This tour will bring to life the places you learned about in your history classes and give you a chance to remember the notable moments of the revolutionary period.
